How Athance Market Works
What you can list here
Freely Tradeable — this platform carries non-licensing shooting-sports products only: air pistols/rifles below licensing thresholds, shooting clothing, optics & sights (including SCATT and other electronic training aids), and shooting accessories. No firearms, no licensed weapons, no controlled ammunition — permanently, not just at launch. Every category is tagged before it's ever listable, and there's nothing in between "freely tradeable" and "not carried."
No hidden charges
The price on a listing is set by the seller — Athance Market doesn't add any fees, commission, or platform charges on top of it. What you pay is exactly what you and the seller agree to, whether that's the listed price as-is or a price you negotiate directly with them (via Make an Offer or chat). Payment happens entirely between buyer and seller, however you arrange it — Athance Market is never a party to it.
Verification
Email verification is required before any listing goes live — every account signs in with a real, OTP-verified email address, so there are no unverified accounts on the platform. Identity, Shooter, Coach, Academy, and Dealer verification tiers are coming soon.
| Tier | What it means |

| Required to list or message, verified via a one-time code sent to your inbox at login |
Condition grading
Every listing uses a condition scale specific to its category — "Good" means something different for a pistol grip than for a shooting jacket. Open any listing and tap the condition badge to see exactly what that tier means for that product type.
Meeting safely
- Keep all communication inside the platform until you're ready to meet.
- Prefer local pickup and meet in a public, well-lit place — or at your club/range.
- Meet during daylight hours where possible, and avoid meeting at your home address.
- Bring a friend along, or at least let someone know where you're meeting and when — especially for higher-value items.
- Check the seller's or buyer's verification tier and rating/review history before agreeing to meet.
- Inspect the item in person before paying — never pay in advance for local pickup.
- For pistols/rifles/optics, test the item's actual function against what the listing and condition notes describe before handing over payment.
- If you're shipping instead of meeting, use trackable shipping and photograph the item and packaging before you send it.
- Trust your instincts — if a deal feels rushed, or the other person avoids answering questions, it's fine to walk away.
- Report anything that feels off — suspiciously low prices, pressure to move off-platform, or requests for advance payment.
